Estelle’s Backyard Eggs

No one does pasture raised eggs like Seth and Alana, the creators of Estelle's. Founded in 2020, Estelle's started out serving the local community of Gilbert at farmers markets across the city. Seth and Alana pride themselves on serving ethical eggs provided from hens treated like pets and wanted to create a brand that reflects those values.

Building a Custom Wordmark

The name pays homage to one of Seth and Alana’s first hens, Estelle. I thought there was no better way to honor her memory than creating a custom wordmark. After many iterations we landed on an option that I thought struck the perfect balance between a fun and premium.

“Eye catching packaging”

That was the brief. A task that may sound straight forward but turned out to lead us down several different options. Ultimately due to the need support 2 different types of cartons (dozen and half-dozen) we landed on a design that can easily be maintained through both sizing options.

When the project calls for an egg mascot, you make it happen. Meet Benedict.

Custom Badges

A series of egg-centric illustrations to a create a unified identity. These guys can be found throughout social campaigns, advertising and future apparel.

Egg Photoshoot

That was not a headline I expected to see on my résumé but here we are. Tantalizing images were requested to help launch the brand on social and can also be found in some printed materials. The goal on this photoshoot was to showcase imperfections and not shy away from the blemishes that come with supporting small farms.
